Q. Do you accept my insurance?
A. We work with most insurance companies, however some insurance companies
request you choose your dentist from a list that they have a specific
contract with. With most of these companies you will find that we
are out of the network, however you still may receive some
benefit. You, the patient contacting your insurance company
for specific information on coverage will give you the most information
about your benefits. Many of our patients do not have dental
insurance or are not in the network, they feel the level of care and
personal attention they receive from the doctors and the team are
worthwhile investment.
Q. How long will my visit be?
A. Usually the initial examination, cleaning and diagnostic appointment is
90 minutes. This allows the doctor and hygienist to collaborate
with you, the patient and insures your specific needs are met.
Once you are on a regular schedule the professional cleaning and
examiniation appointment is 60 minutes. Your initial appointment
is usually scheduled mid morning and your subsequent appointments can
be as early as 7.30 am, 12:00 noon if your lunch our is convenient or
our last appointment of the day is 3:00pm.
Q. Do you have Saturday hours?
A. We see patients Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. The
doctors have management meetings and training on Fridays to ensure
optimum care to our patients. The doctors have a paging system
where they are available to their patients for dental emergencies.
Q. How much will my visit be?
A. The initial examination, professional cleaning, and diagnostic
evaluation is very individual, however an estimate of $100-$250 is an
average.
Q. Do you see children?
A. Yes, a good time to begin professional cleanings and evaluations with
children is between age 2.5 - age 3. If there is a concern that
develops before this age we will be happy to evaluate the
situation. We want to create an atmosphere for the child that is
an upbeat experience for everyone.
